Ontario has the world's longest integrated snowmobile trail network - 21,000 miles (33,600 km) of groomed routes which connect most snowbelt communities. Overlaid on this network are almost 6000 miles (9,600 km) of Trans Ontario Provincial (TOP) Trails which provides main thoroughfares, regional connections, and the provinces most direct touring routes.

Blue Water Acres is located in the heart of one of Ontario's most popular snowmobiling regions known as Muskoka. The resort is located in a natural snowbelt area making it one of the most reliable regions providing good snow conditions. Trails in this area are among the most scenic in the province as they wind through the backwoods of the Canadian Shield. Guests staying at Blue Water Acres can access many networks of local trails right from the resort.

Blue Water Acres is located at Trail number 7 in district 7 of the O.F.S.C.. trail system. Our local club is the Algonquin Snowmobile Club. You must have a trail permit to drive your own machine on the trails. You can visit the O.F.S.C. Website for current permite costs and more information.

Gas and service can be acquired at South Portage Marina, which is less than a one minute ride from the resort. There is room to park trailers at the resort. You can park your machine right at your cottage.
