A spectacular Cavalcade of Colours
The resort is situated on the shores of Lake of Bays in the heart of Muskoka, an area renowned for its pristine lakes, natural beauty, clean air, and abundance of wildlife. To those living in Ontario, the area is affectionately referred to as "Cottage Country".
Blue Water Acres is a year-round resort. Guests from across the globe visit the resort to experience the spectacular fall colours for which this region is so well known. Leaves on the trees start turning colour during early September. The colours usually peak during the last weeks of September and the first two week of October. The combination of coloured trees, rugged rolling hills, pristine lakes and a clear blue sky provide unbelievable photo opportunities.
There are of course, many other activities available at the resort during this time of year and there are lots of places to go in the area. Explore this site and discover why this is such a great vacation destination.
Our guests enjoy the benefits of having cottage accommodation. Families will appreciate the convenience of separate bedrooms. Couples will enjoy the privacy of their own cottage.
There is much to do and see at Blue Water Acres. There are more recreation facilities at the resort than any other cottage resort in Ontario.

To avoid disappointment, it's a good idea to book your vacation as early as possible. Our rates are very competitive.
