Blue Water Acres is located about 2 1/2 hours
drive north of Toronto. It is located in a popular vacation
area known as Muskoka. This region is well recognized
for its pristine lakes, natural beauty, clean air, abundance
of wildlife, and wide array of recreational activities.
The resort is located near Algonquin Park on Lake of Bays
about 18 km. east of Huntsville.
How to get To Blue Water Acres
From Overseas
The most popular travel approach from overseas is "fly/drive".
You will fly to the Pearson International Airport in Toronto,
rent a car, then drive to Blue Water Acres. There is also
a train and bus service from Toronto. A shuttle bus is
also available from the Airport to Huntsville. Taxis are
available from Huntsville to BlueWater Acres.
From Pearson International Airport
Pearson International Airport is located just West of
Toronto. Take Highway 409 East to Highway 401 East to
Highway 400 North; then follow directions (From Toronto)
below.
From Toronto
Drive via Highway 400 north to Barrie. At Barrie Highway
400 merges on to Highway 11. Continue north on Highway
11 to Highway 60 (3 km or 2 miles north of the Huntsville
exit). Exit on to Highway 60; drive approximately 18 km
(11 miles) along Highway 60 to South Portage Muskoka Road
9. Turn right. Drive about 3 km (2 miles) until you see
the sign to Blue Water Acres. Follow signs the next few
hundred metres (or yards). From the airport the trip should take less than 3 hours.
From Highway 400/401, it should will take about 2 1/2
hours. |
