You can still do it the ol' fashioned way

Snowshoeing is a great way to get around in pure virgin snow. In places where you would be waist deep in snow without snowshoes, you can easily traverse through the beautiful country side with them. It's fun, a bit tricky at first, and good exercise. Equipment can be rented at Blue Water Acres at a cost of $15 for 1/2 day.
