ON THE WATER

Ice Fishing

Blue Water Acres Resort in Muskoka is a great place to test your ice fishing luck and skill! You can set up within walking distance of your cottage, and are never far from the creature comforts you may need. Even though todays’ ice huts are a far cry from the days of old.

The Locals Know

The local fisherman must know something. Ice huts are randomly organized in an area where there must be a great fishing shelf. Everyone is always boasting about the size of the lake trout they caught today. Sometimes someone catches a whitefish too. Both are excellent eating fish!
